Who is funnier: puppets or people?
ImproMafia kicks off its 2012 Sunday Best programme this February with the ultimate showdown. Get ready for Puppets Vs People, an improvised comedy battle between puppets and humans to see who is funnier.
Helmed by special guest interstate director Jon Williams, former Artistic Director of Sydney's Impro Australia, Puppets Vs People will see scenes created live on stage using ideas straight from the audience. Join Jon and ImproMafia's finest for the company's first foray into puppetry - a show that humourously explores what it means to be human.

This February, our 2012 season of Sunday Best shows at the Brisbane Arts Theatre gets underway!
ImproMafia kicks of the year at 7.30pm on Sunday February 26 with Puppets Vs People, helmed by special guest director Jon Williams from Sydney's Impro Australia. Puppets Vs People is ImproMafia's first foray into puppetry, gently and humourously exploring what it means to be human. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks!

He came, he saw, he conquered - congratulations to Joel Gilmore on being named ImproMafia's Iron Improviser for 2011 at the Sunday December 11th show.
With Iron Improviser VII done and dusted - and Albion's On The Spot and Casablanca's Speakeasy both wrapped up for the year - ImproMafia has put a fork in a successful 2011.
But never fear - plans are now underway for an even bigger 2012! You can expect to see ImproMafia's favourite short form shows return in the early months of next year alongside our centrepiece long form theatre shows at the Brisbane Arts Theatre. Until then, happy New Year!
