This workshop is open to members of ImproMafia who have completed our Level 1 course or equivalent.

ImproMafia's first Brisbane Arts Theatre show for 2012 is "Puppets Vs People". It will be on Sunday 26 February at 7:30pm.

This is a special show that will be directed by our guest from Impro Australia in Sydney, Jon Williams. Jon will conduct a workshop on puppetry and improvisation on Saturday 25 February at the Jubilee Hall. This four hour workshop will go through Jon's style and the skills needed in bringing inanimate objects to life to tell human stories. It will be a fantastic lesson in character, emotion and physicality.

Jon will then cast the Sunday night show with attendees from this workshop. He will have ultimate decision on the make-up of the performance.

PLEASE NOTE: Level 3 workshoppers will have a workshop with Jon on Sunday 26 February as part of their course. If you are unable to make the Saturday workshop, please leave a note on this page. It *may* be possible to fit you into the Level 3 class.
